The Long Day Is Over
We see the sunset,
Calm red & round,
Converging with its reflection,
Down the horizon it shortly shifts,
Dragging the shadows longer,
Pushing Time out for its last act,
And sorrow sets in a crimson tide.
The long day is over.
Feeling tired
By the fire
The long day is over
The wind is gone
Asleep at dawn
The embers burn on
With no reprise
The sun will rise
The long day is over
Calm red & round,
Converging with its reflection,
Down the horizon it shortly shifts,
Dragging the shadows longer,
Pushing Time out for its last act,
And sorrow sets in a crimson tide.
The long day is over.
Feeling tired
By the fire
The long day is over
The wind is gone
Asleep at dawn
The embers burn on
With no reprise
The sun will rise
The long day is over

Sunshine
I lost my way
I hold you in my hands
A little animal
And only some dumb idiot
Would let you go
But if I'm one thing
Then that's the one thing
I should know
Can anybody find their home
Out of everyone
Can anybody find their home
Lost in the sun
Can anybody find their home
I hold you in my hands
A little animal
And only some dumb idiot
Would let you go
But if I'm one thing
Then that's the one thing
I should know
Can anybody find their home
Out of everyone
Can anybody find their home
Lost in the sun
Can anybody find their home

I walked 63,360 inches just to find you
I would walk a mile to find you,
stay up late to know you,
listen to all the troubles worrying you,
be there to walk with you,
risk everything to be with you,
never will i forget you,
because everything that i do ends with you.
stay up late to know you,
listen to all the troubles worrying you,
be there to walk with you,
risk everything to be with you,
never will i forget you,
because everything that i do ends with you.

Project :: Indie Music
Been looking for music of some 创作型歌手, they are quite rare in the market cos they are non-mainstream & do not enjoy as much publicity. I've been looking for this particular CD by a female singer since 4 years ago but still have no idea where to find it. Still, the melody of the one & only song i've heard from her 4 years ago still rings soundly in my head.

陈珊妮 - 来不及
The song from that album was the only song that made it onto the pop music station Y.E.S. 933. I like the song the very first time i heard it. Sadly, the song did not enjoy much popularity in mainstream music, although it is truly touching. I could not even find a download for the song online. But at least now i know how the album looks like. Going to look for it again soon, hunt down all the music chain stores =)

Sweet Omelette~!
Bacon Omelette
-For the carnivorous omelette eater, a bacon omelette is sure to please any Neopet!
Feeds to Aisha... Aisha takes a bit out of the Bacon Omelette... Aisha says "Uh oh, i think i ate a little too fast" =)
No neopet can resist a 1/3 bite out of the sweet omelette, with all the varieties out there (i thought the Carrot and Pea Omelette & Bacon and Broccoli Omelette were weird). Me too! Omelettes accompany me through the darkest dinners (when it was cold & storming), & never fail to cheer me up with its brownish-gold colour & soft bite. It doesn't need much condiments too, just some salt & pepper. Yummy!
An interesting article on sweet omelettes... dessert recipes that are simply heavenly!!! *^.^*~
Drool over it!

Chasing a broken dream with good faith
*awwwwwww* a happy ending for Chase... It's beautiful... one of those really special & personal moments that you can snuggle up to, when you shut the world off & slips into that little comfort zone, where time stops, & you live an eternity. *snooze*
Oh, next episode's gonna be interesting. The mother of all teen dramas; falling in love with your best friend's gf. Will it turn all nasty? How could he have done this in the 1st place? Just when Gabriel managed to nurture a close relationship with Ellie, & this gay lover who has been in a totally different part of the story, walks in & says "excuse me"? Lol, definitely watchable. David & Ellie together can definitely do a spin-off of "Achar pt. 2", haha...

Aren't they cute puppies? *^.^*
Ok, i confess... i like this short series a lot though it has low profile, stage-style acting & all too perfect actors & actresses. Maybe that's why i like it. It's got a feeling of a short story that you like reading come to life.
Then i watched True Courage, the concluding episode. I've been wanting to watch this episode since i saw its preview. On paper, it may seem just another GP essay question on morality of abortion. However, putting it into perspective of a real-life event & looking at it with your heart, it is a chapter in life with much to learn & reflect. It's about a mother whose mammogram scan diagnosed that her unborn baby has bodily defects. He has an unusual skull, & his fingers & toes look fused together. Looking at the events folding out, it is very heartbreaking, knowing that this being of a beating heart can constantly be felt within the mother, the closest thing that she ever has, her proudest & happiest baby, suddenly all shattered because he is imperfect. How can you bring yourself to accept the truth? You still love him as much & he is the most ever important thing you ever wish to have, but now he has physical defects. How would you bring yourself to accept it? Would you want to turn him into a memory & let it all fade away? Would it be more cruel to have him born & taste the bitterness of a handicapped life?
Love is an act that shows your attachment to someone, to show concern & willingness to protect one from harm. A love for the baby does not mean a decision on his right to live, but a pledge to care for him forever from the day he is born. One will never kill someone he loves, for any reason there may be. & this is a statement of faith, to put the ones you love on the same level of trust as you. A baby may not be able to read or talk, but he can understand & learn your emotions. You trust that he understands why you have born him into this world of suffering, & will one day come to be grateful. This is the unconditional faith that will help overcome times of dilemna.
Although I am a free thinker, I have come to understand the need of faith as a basic human trust, regardless of your religion, but simply the fact that you are alive. Religion is a medium that helps you keep the faith you have found, so you will never be lost, & will always find people of the same faith around you. Although i have no religion, i am realising the ways of life each & every day, & understanding why people need a religion to survive.

Pre-dating blues & reds
Not knowing what to do to a date to make it successful? Firstly, it must be of a ripe age to be sweet, then it has to be dried until the texture is crunchy but the meat inside is still soft... & you'll get this:

Ok That's what you turn into if you fail to plan for a date too; you'll turn red & shrivel up. =) Dates are still an interesting & important part of a relationship, even after you have celebrated your silver jubilee (congrats~!). It's everyone's joy to relive the moments of youth, of how your heart bounces the 1st time you set eyes on the most appreciated person in the world. To fall in love all over again! Haha...
K gotta get going, more to come later! =)
